The toolkit
Each free SEO tool below solves one specific, repeatable task. No dashboards, no logins, no learning curve — open the page, do the job, move on with your day.

Tools earn their place by showing up in actual workflows. Here is where each of these tends to get used during a normal week of SEO work at our agency.
Before a page goes live, paste its meta description into the Word Counter to confirm it fits inside the display limit, and check the title tag length while you are there. A draft that is 2 sentences short of the depth you planned is easier to fix now than after Google has indexed a thin page. Small habit, fewer rewrites.
A brand-new site or a client handover is the classic moment for this one. Run through the GSC Integration Checker: property added, ownership verified, sitemap submitted, pages indexed, performance data flowing. Catch a missing verification or an unsubmitted sitemap on day one and you save weeks of waiting for data that was never going to arrive.
Audits produce long lists of URLs — sitemap exports, backlink lists pulled from Ahrefs or Search Console, redirect mapping sheets. The Bulk URL Opener turns a column of links into open tabs so you can visually verify status codes, redirects and page content without copying addresses one by one.
Why these tools
Your text, URLs and checklist answers are processed locally on your device with JavaScript. Nothing is uploaded to our servers, stored in a database, or shared with anyone. Close the tab and it is gone — that is the whole privacy policy for these tools.
Routine SEO tasks should not require an account. There is no email gate, no trial countdown and no feature locked behind a paywall — just bookmark the page and use the tool whenever the task comes up.
Rank Rays is an SEO agency in Lahore, Pakistan, with a sub-office in the UK, founded by Muhammad Shakeel, serving clients worldwide. These tools came out of our own workflows: counting characters in meta descriptions, validating Search Console setups for new clients, opening batches of URLs during link audits. We built them because we needed them.
There is no browser API that lets a website read your Search Console data, so our checker is a guided checklist instead of a fake automatic scan. The URL opener tells you plainly that your browser may block some tabs. We would rather ship a tool that works as described than a button that overpromises.
These are single-purpose utilities, not dashboards trying to do everything. A word counter counts words. A URL opener opens URLs. That focus keeps them fast — no loading spinners, no onboarding tour, no clutter between you and the task.
Our standard
The internet is full of free SEO tools. Most of them are lead magnets wearing a tool costume. When we evaluate any utility — ours or someone else's — these 4 qualities decide whether it stays bookmarked.
A good free tool has no reason to see your content. If a word counter asks you to create an account before pasting text, the product is you. Browser-local processing is the standard we hold our own tools to.
Every tool has edges. A word counter cannot judge writing quality; a checklist cannot log into Google for you. Tools that admit their limits are more useful than tools that hide them, because you can plan around what is real.
A utility you open 20 times a day should not make you wait. No heavy frameworks, no video backgrounds, no popups asking you to subscribe before you have used the thing once.
The web changes — browsers update, Google renames menus inside Search Console, display limits shift. A tool that nobody maintains quietly becomes wrong. We use these tools ourselves, so when something drifts, we notice.
Honest limits
We would rather tell you where a tool stops than let you discover it mid-task. Every utility on this page is deliberately small — and small tools have edges. Here is exactly where each one ends, so you can plan around it — and know when the job has outgrown free tools entirely:
It counts words, characters, sentences, and paragraphs, and estimates reading time — and that is the whole job description. It cannot tell you whether a paragraph answers the search intent, whether the tone fits your brand, or whether 800 words of filler would lose to 300 words of substance. Use it to enforce the mechanical constraints — meta description length, title tag limits, thin-page checks — and bring a human editor for everything the numbers cannot see.
There is no browser API that lets a website read your Search Console data, so this tool is a guided 7-step checklist rather than an automatic scan. It shows you exactly where to click inside Search Console and what a healthy result looks like — but you confirm each step inside your own Google account. If you would rather have the verification done for you, that is client work, and our free audit covers it.
Opening dozens of tabs from a single click looks like popup spam to every modern browser, so Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari may block some tabs on the first run. The tool tells you when that happens and how to allow it — one permission change fixes it permanently. It also validates your list before opening anything: malformed addresses and duplicates are flagged in the review step, so a pasted spreadsheet column with one bad row does not silently open 49 good tabs and skip the broken one without telling you. And on phones, reach for the per-link open buttons instead: 50 tabs on a mobile screen helps nobody.
Putting them to work
Free tools earn their bookmark when they slot into work you already do. Here is the order we reach for them during a typical site review — steal the sequence.
Every SEO decision downstream depends on Search Console data being complete and current, so start by verifying the integration itself with our connection checker. An unverified property, a lapsed verification, or a property set up on the wrong URL variant means the clicks, impressions, and coverage numbers you are reading may be partial. 2 minutes here prevents weeks of optimizing against bad data.
Audits deal in lists: sitemap URLs to verify, backlink exports to review, redirect maps to confirm, competitor SERPs to read. Paste any of those lists into the bulk URL opener and walk through them in batches of 10 to 20. What you are looking for at this stage is pattern-level: templates rendering wrong, whole sections redirecting, staging URLs that should never have been indexed.
Word counts are not a ranking factor by themselves, but consistently thin pages across a site are a quality signal Google does notice. Run product descriptions, category intros, and location pages through the word counter as you draft them, and compare against the pages already ranking for your target queries. It is a 30-second check that keeps thin content from shipping silently.
Tools surface facts; they do not interpret them. A URL opener shows you a redirect chain, but judging whether that chain is bleeding link equity takes context. A word counter tells you a page is 300 words, but deciding whether those 300 words satisfy the search intent takes judgment. Use the tools for the repeatable mechanical work, and bring in a proper audit — ours is free — when the question becomes what it all means.
Free tools handle the small tasks. We handle the rest.
Free, private, no account needed — and honest about the rest.
